TASSIE CHALLENGE is an off-road navigational event consisting of 2 vehicles per team with at least 1 GPS. Your team's challenge, if you choose to accept it, is to navigate your way around a series of GPS coordinates collecting information along the way as well as participating in special stages all within an allocated time. The next Tassie Challenge will be held on 8th August 2009 at Quercus rural youth park Carrick. This years event will start at 8 am and finish around 7pm, there will camping available from Friday afternoon and we are hoping to put on a live band after the event finish on saturday night,,,, staying on for a few cold ones, a hot feed and to enjoy some music and a bit of bench racing about the days event is strongly advised as completing the event is only half the fun and with the event held at Quercus park we have the use of a huge indoor area so the fun will go on no matter what the weather.... There will be a different format this year with even more prizes up for grabs and more competitors taking them home as well as the usual perpetual and poo-petual trophies eager to wear your name.
